Breaking news:Zinedine Zidane's conditions for taking Man Utd job as he makes feelings clear
Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine
Zidane is one of the leading contenders
to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester
United whose future is firmly up in the air
Manchester United have reportedly not
approached Zinedine Zidane as the
highly-rated manager continues to be linked
with the Old Trafford job.
The former Real Madrid boss is one of the
leading contenders to replace Ole Gunnar
whose United future is up in the air.
Zidane is currently out of work after leaving
Madrid in the summer and given his track record
of winning trophies, he would be a top drawer
candidate for United if they part ways with Ole
Gunnar.
But the Red Devils have not entered discussions
with the Frenchman, according to journalist
Fabrizio Romano.
It's also claimed Zidane is not 'desperate' to
accept a proposal from United, or any other
club, as taking on a job midway through the
season does not appeal to him
Brendan Rodgers is another name who
would be firmly in the frame to succeed Solskjaer
but the club are aware of how difficult it
would be to sign him mid-season.
Appointing a manager from now until the
end of the season is a viable option, however,
and is something the Red Devils are looking
into.
And it's claimed former RB Leipzig boss
Rangnick, who now has a senior role at
Lokomotiv Moscow, fits the bill after impressing
Ed Woodward during informal meetings.
