 Paul Pogba, a midfielder for Manchester United,  has said that winning the World Cup is the biggest  moment of his career so far, and that he wants to  silence his doubters.  Pogba's future at Old Trafford has been a cause  of persistent speculation since his return to the  club in 2016, with the Frenchman being linked  with a transfer away on numerous occasions.  Ralf Rangnick's appointment as temporary  manager before moving into a consultancy post  next year might cast further doubt on Pogba's future , since the former RB Leipzig coach has already  expressed reservations about the midfielder.  Many fans have been frustrated with the 28- year-club old's play compared to his performances  while on international duty, and it'll come as  no surprise that his favorite moment of his  career occurred while with France.

Barcelona would therefore appear to be  looking for more than one attacking signing  in the January window, and Sport sound  confident about their chances with the  Uruguayan. The Catalan newspaper say the potential  transfer is ‘well on track’ and that a final  decision on the Manchester United exit will  be made ‘in the next few hours’. Cavani is said to be ready to give his approval  to the transfer, and he’d sign for a year and  a half, agreeing to slash his salary in the process. A meeting is set to be held on Tuesday  to see whether Manchester United will agree  to terminate the player’s contract. That would  allow him to move as a free agent, and is  the only way Barcelona would do a deal. Everything now depends on what will be  decided in the coming hours and days....
