Manchester United are close to signing 

Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara, 

according to the Catalan newspaper El Nacional

 (h/t Manchester Evening News). Barcelona 

is also interested. He has established himself as 

a regular for his team and has received praise 

for his recent efforts. 


Kamara's contract with the French club is set 

to expire at the end of the current season. He 

might sign a pre-contract deal with rival teams

 in the January transfer window because he will

 be a free agent next July. That would make him

 a valuable asset since if no contract is signed, 

he will be available for a low price or for nothing

 in the future.


Man United will have to compete with Barcelona

 for the Frenchman, but the former is presently

 leading the trade race. Many did not expect him

 to progress as quickly as he did when he first

 appeared, but he has.

Breaking news: Lars Kornetka to be Ralph Rangnick’s assistant at Manchester United and reveals his key major players to face Chelsea on Sunday.

  Lars Kornetka is set to be Ralph Rangnick’s  assistant at Manchester United. Kortnetka has previously worked with Ragnicks  at Hoffenheim, Schalke and was his assistant  manager at RB Leipzig. He currently works  as a management advisor at Lokomotiv Moscow. Kornetka assisted Julien Nagelsmann and  was the video analyst during Pep Guardiola’s  tenure at Bayern Munich. As per Athletic’s earlier reports, United are set  to appoint Rangnick as an interim manager  until the end of the season and have offered  him a further two-year role as a consultant.
